Welcome to 2019

Well hello folks. It's been a very long time since I last blogged. I so need to get myself better organized with my business. I'm not a very organized person at all, but I'm working on it. I got myself a little desk to help. I had a portion of my kitchen designated as "Avon corner" and it was crazy anytime I got a call with an order I had to pull things out to write it down. Now I have a small set-up where I don't have to put my order forms away or hide them. It's all set out and ready for anytime someone calls with an order. So far it has helped.
So how has life been for you all? Me, well let's just say I've been quite busy with working. I still clean on the side, but not as many houses as I used to do. I have a full-time job as well as Avon. It's crazy but I'm doing it. I am a Housekeeper at a local hotel and absolutely love it. They are an amazing group of people to work with, and also doing what I enjoy.
What are you hoping happens this year? Let this year bring you the best of everything. For me this year, well I've picked up to do two vendor events. I'm excited about that too. I've already made some samples for one and a check list so I don't forget anything.
It's been super cold here and I don't like it. Kids missed school yesterday and today for the temperatures. With it being so cold, we stayed indoors today and played games and everything.
I don't want to bore you all with this Welcome Blog, so I'll call it quits for today. I will be trying to get back into blogging more.

As most of you already know, Texas was impacted recently by Hurricane Harvey. There are a lot of families left with nothing but the clothes on their backs and staying wherever they can for shelter. Back 2 school

The day has arrived, well almost! Tomorrow morning we will wake up earlier than we have for the last few months. We will whine, and cry and fight that we are so tired. It's a battle that we will conquer everyday as it needs done. Hurry don't miss the bus!! Off to the first day of school for 2017-2018 school year. Let's see what fun this year brings; new friends, new struggles, old struggles, all battles, tired little bodies, homework but not just for the kids. Birthday party invites, parties at school, plays, field trips, field day, appreciation days and good ol' spirit days and can't forget those dreaded snow days.
My girls seemed to be getting excited for back to school, up until tonight. We attended Meet the teacher and my oldest (7) was a bit shy, which I can understand that. My middle girl (6) has been begging to go back to school, she loves school. My youngest (3) not attending yet this year, was a handful tonight because she wants to be in school and erase the teachers artwork on the dry erase board.😕
Well, I should zoom off here and finish my laundry so I can get to bed. Busy morning and then I get to go clean 😊 and return home before they exit the bus. Crossing my fingers for a good Day 1!!

It's been a long summer

I haven't had the chance to sit down and blog this summer. It's been a long crazy busy one, too!! I just can't believe the kids will be returning to school in less than a month. I'm kind of excited, but kind of sad. We took a little road trip in July to visit my family out of state, and had fun. It was nice to get away for a little. I had my last 3 wisdom teeth extracted, and recovery was rough for a little over 2 weeks. My family did some swimming, on the nice days that weren't raining lol. I am working on expanding my Cleaning jobs, I clean houses once in a while and I love it. It works like therapy to me. The last few days the temperature hasn't been summer-like where we live. It's more like early fall weather. The kids want to swim, but it's too chilly. My oldest two girls are preparing for school, and they can't wait to go back. Well, I think that's enough about me lol. ☃ Well we are on our 2nd No School Day for this Storm Stella. My kids are begging to go to school. One is very upset, and thinks I can correct the No School issues. They are staying inside today out of the crazy winds. My youngest says, "we cant' go out, or we get frostbite!" She just turned 3 in February and she's the funniest little gal. They all can be quite humorous, and crabby all within minutes. Besides fighting today, they are playing legos, babies, and puzzles. Got to love puzzles. I'm working on Avon business, and multitasking. Debating on running to the store for some things, so I don't have to rush tomorrow after a Dentist appt. The wind might just pick me up and take me far away. Ooh that kind of sounds like a good idea. Wonder where it would take me?

A day in the life...

What goes on in a day in my life? Quite a few things go on in a day. It can be crazy busy or calm. You just never know. Weekday mornings, it's up and at 'em early to get 2 kids ready for school (in hopes the youngest stays asleep for a while), check fire, dog out, and if little one is still asleep I enjoy a few minutes of quiet. If little one is awake, it's a battle on her begging for gum at 7am or mints. Take a chill on the couch with her for a little bit and snuggle. Breakfast battle on what she wants to eat, then back to the mints and "hapship" (chapstick). Putting puzzles together, getting her bath and then most days I'm getting ready to go do some cleaning. I have added to my client list of houses to clean, and it's exciting for me. It's Therapy for this Avon Lady. I may be weird but that's ok. I think I am officially booked for cleaning without neglecting my own house haha. Do my cleaning work, then back home for shower, bus drop off and battles with what's for snack (always a battle). Homework time, and lots of reading. Play time while I multitask and figure out what's going to be for dinner. Back and forth from play room to kitchen for the next hour trying to have dinner jump out at me. It never happens that way, but I pray one day it will. Dinner time, baths, play and chill time or just fight like cats over 50 Barbie dolls for about a half hour. Then get ready for bed and fight over who brushes first. We don't want to go to bed yet, but we have to play even though we just fight. Bedtime has arrived and it's a constant battle each and every night. Why? I'll never understand it. Shhh!!! An hour later, very rarely earlier, it's all quiet and time for my favorite thing to do LAUNDRY!!! Depending on how much was there will determine when I can close my eyes for the night. Laundry and cleaning and dishes are my therapy. Well just a few hours later, I think it's my time to close my eyes and relax. Wait I may have said that wrong, I have no idea what RELAX means!!! I'm a mother and a busy one at that, so no relax here.
Well, I didn't blog this to bore anyone, but just giving anyone an idea of what most of my days are like. Always a battle in there somewhere, even over little things. Doing what I love and sharing with you.
